The rock singer, Bon Jovi came back on Wednesday to a fire station in Manhattan to pay tribute and conmemorate the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks from September 11th -2001.
The singer from New Jersey was filmed singing the anthem: "America, The Beautiful" by a NBC team as a preparation for the special saturday program "NFL Kickoff 2011: Back to football" which begins the football season.
Bon Jovi performed the same song for a TV program that was transmitted in the whole US on September 23th -2001, shortly before the first NFL matchs after the attacks.
The singer said in an interview after Wednesday performance that it was like "Going back to that moment".
Bon Jovi has passed three decades in a tour with his songs, including "Livin' on a Prayer" and "It's my Life". The band has sold more than 100 million recordings in the whole world.
